A Stable and Natural-Looking Tooth Replacement Solution
Smile Confidently With Dental Implants
Consider All the Benefits
If you’re missing one or more teeth—or even all of them—dental implants can help you achieve a complete and beautiful smile! Their popularity is on the rise, with around 3 million people having received implants and an additional 500,000 joining them each year. This growing trend is due to the numerous benefits dental implants offer over other restoration methods.
While traditional fixed bridges and dentures can effectively replace missing teeth, dental implants come with several distinct advantages:
- Natural Appearance and Function: Dental implants closely resemble the look, feel, and functionality of natural teeth.
- Long-lasting Solution: With proper placement, good oral hygiene, and regular care, dental implants can provide a durable solution for many years.
- Bone Preservation: Implants stimulate the underlying bone, helping to prevent bone loss and maintain natural facial contours.
- Stable and Secure: Unlike removable dentures, implants act like natural teeth and won’t slip or dislodge while speaking or eating.
- Freedom to Enjoy Food: Dental implants enable easy speaking and eating, allowing you to enjoy all types of food without limitations.
- Decay-resistant: Dental implants do not decay and are not susceptible to cavities.
- No Alteration Required: Unlike fixed bridges, dental implants do not necessitate any preparation or crowning of adjacent teeth.
Types of Dental Implants
Single-tooth Implant
A traditional fixed bridge usually involves preparing and crowning the teeth on both sides of the gap. These crowned teeth serve as support for the artificial teeth, called "pontics," that fill the empty space. Much like a bridge supported by strong pillars at each end, a dental bridge relies on the crowned teeth for strength and stability.
In contrast, a cantilever fixed bridge operates similarly but has a key difference: only one side of the pontic is anchored to a crowned tooth for support.
